I'd like to hear how Devlin snatched BEN and what happened in the car to subdue the child on the way to the apartment...considering Devlin had to be driving while trying to keep the boy from bailing out..at the same time. Did he have a gun?
NOT that I am suggesting Ben did anything wrong..FAR from it. It's a matter of profiling how these guys can get the kids to stay quiet and still during the abduction.

My understanding is that the details will not coming out since the case against Devlin is pending at this point.
I have the same kinds of questions, especially how does the abductor convince the children not to run away as soon as they can, or to call out to passersby, struggle in the car or being into the house, tell someone, and so on.
The local paper talked about how Shawn Hornbeck called Devlin at work on Friday afternoon, so were both boys left alone in the apartment? It seems Devlin was gone at times all day or night, so how did he control them?
I hope the authorities are able to learn much more about these situations and use the info to educate the public, kids and parents.
I would love to hear that, too, but part of me thinks it would be fodder for any would-be kidnappers on how to do it successfully.
