Craig Akers, Shawn Hornbeck's step-father, is doing this press availability by phone.

Thanking all involved, and said that one of the reasons for doing this today, is for the other missing children. He says that he remembers when Elizabeth Smart was found and how much hope that gave them, how that fueled their hopes.

Mr. Akers says that they haven't gotten much sleep, and that they are afraid to go to sleep, that they will wake up and it all will have been a dream.
