BH: Well the man who fathered Shawn Hornbeck it turns out had a dark secret. He was arrested, charged and convicted with a sex offense. Ahhh we found this out and it was towards the end of his life. He was an old man when he fathered Shawn, he was 60 years old. After Shawn was born he was charged with sodomy and was convicted.

Fox reporter: Now do we know anything about... What was the exact year of that, Do we know?

DH: (this is where he stutters over the date) The conviction was in 1994, he was charged with this in 199... uhhh (his eyes close in thought) I'm sorry... 2002 he was charged in 2002.

Fox Reporter: I'm do we know the name of the victim?

DH: No, we don't. We have not been able to determine exactly what happened in this case. Be we have been able to establish that a minor was involved.

Fox Reporter: So a minor involved and the conviction is?

DH: was for attempted sodomy although he was originally arrested for rape

Fox Reporter: ok again, so it was a statutory crimes so it had to be with a minor under the age of 14?

DH: Yeah ... we don't know the details. We don't have any idea who the victim is but you can read more about it in the post.

I am taking it that they may suspect that Shawn was his victim.

From the reporter stuttering... I take it that he did this to a minor in 1994 and I bet his conviction came down in 2000 and then dude died before prison or while he was in prison. - This is my opinion.

I take it that Shawn could have been his victim but right now the reporter or I do not know this but I think they were implying that it could have been Shawn as being his victim.

What does this mean? If it is true, could it mean Shawn's father and Devlin were pedo pals when he was alive and it had something to do with Shawn's kidnapping?
