I did think that all the boys seemed to have a similar look, no blondes, red heads, etc. Even the missing ones that haven't been found seem to be his "type".

I just came across an article from yesterday that perhaps has been discussed, but it's the first I heard - that Devlin is being considered in a case from 1991? A boy who apparently resembles Shawn. Is that what you meant by ones not been found being his type?
A suburban St. Louis man charged with kidnapping two Missouri boys is under investigation in the disappearance of a third Missouri boy — 16 years ago.
Michael Devlin is the "most viable lead" in the case of Charles Arlin Henderson, who was 11 when he disappeared in 1991 and has never been found, Lincoln County sheriff's deputies said.
The long-missing boy, known as Arlin, was, like Ownby and Hornbeck, about 100 pounds and from a rural town about an hour from St. Louis. Both Hornbeck and Henderson vanished at age 11 while riding their bikes.
"If you were to take a photo of Arlin Henderson and you place it next to Shawn's picture, there is a striking resemblance," sheriff's Lt. Rick Harrell said.
