You know the rule, "Don't hit the girl".
Of course, that probably never meant all that much to ol' Charlie. After all, he is one of the "protected classes".

"Saying it to me in private is far more important than whatever she says nationally," he huffed, referring to her weekend TV appearance. So he's essentially calling her a liar???? Cool!

Actually, I think what he was saying was that she was being slightly discourteous when she announced a tax increase without consulting the head of the committee in charge of tax increases.
Similar to Speaker Pelosis complaint about Bush and being informed instead of consulted about the war in Iraq.
Youd think shed be more sensitive to that!

Maybe he knows he has more power as Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee.

What he is saying is that Nancy doesn't get to set the agenda for his committee. She can't go on tv and say something is going to happen if she hasn't cleared it with him first.
Way it is. Way it's going to be.
Nancy looks real dumb here. It's not like she didn't know Rangel wasn't going to lay down and roll over for her.

"Quick, does anybody know if it is in the bylaws of the House, that the Speaker can be be removed from the position for "malfeasance of office"?"
I hope not... Let her stay right where she is. This country needs to take a good look at liberal asshats in power.

Not Rangel , not anyone is afraid of Pelosi. She is all hot air . Lets see what happens when her blue dogs begin to bark. So ,her and Bush do have something in common. Neither one is feared in a business that runs on power and intimidation .

is this another example of the "men are evil and we don't need them" attitude promoted by the looney left? shove bills through congress with minimal review... nice enlightened approach to legislation.
just once i would like to see congress spend the first 3 months CUTTING existing laws, returning freedoms the laws had taken away.

We need antoher Barry Goldwater!
"I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them. It is not to inaugurate new programs, but to cancel old ones that do violence to the Constitution or that have failed their purpose, or that impose on the people an unwarranted financial burden. I will not attempt to discover whether legislation is "needed" before I have first determined whether it is constitutionally permissible. And if I should later be attacked for neglecting my constituents "interests, " I shall reply that I was informed that their main interest is liberty and that in that cause I am doing the very best I can." [Barry Goldwater]

Only covered by the NY Post and IBD. Nothing on the broadcast News channels, or the N Y Times or Washington Post. So very, very few people know about this feud. Once again, the MSM is covering for the Democrats.

Pelosi is arguing with a Black man? Why, thats outragous!
Clearly she must be a racist.
If it came down to arguments, Rangel would wipe the floor with Pelosi imo.
Other then that, I'm enjoying the infighting. /LMAO

It's one thing for San Fran Nan to ram through legislation despite Republican objections, but it's something else to do it over the wishes of her fellow Democrats.
