Well, the best way to unite Iraqi Shia and Sunni is to whip up their rage against the Persians. Hell, even the harcore "insurgents" prolly hate the Persians more than the Americans. This is excellent on so many levels.
I should note that it was the illegal actions of Iran against the US Embassy in 1979 that started my love affair with current events. In essence, I became a news junkie at age 13.
