I think that's the first time that Bush has alluded, in such a high-profile setting, to al-Qaeda's goal - "to build a radical Islamic empire."

He needs to keep saying it...as does everyone else. Those opposed to the war simply refuse to believe that this threat is very real and that their ultimate goal is a worldwide Caliphate.
