I wasn't sure if anyone else posted I didn't get to read all the posts. My frustration is with the media, even Fox. Partisan bickering is better print with the MSM then the underlying message.. The question is? Rhetoric or a change in strategy? Only the future will tell. Tomorrow the SecDef is to make an announcement on what Fox stated "Significant increase in the military." I don't know what to think. This strategy I suspect is more of a regional one. With the action taken in Somalia this week it looks like that just maybe, the gloves may come off. The President will have to act quickly and decisive for it to succeed. The dems are going to try to subvert as usual. I truly believe that the dems really have no idea of world affairs.

finnman69 posted this in technicolor and huge fonts. It's too bad I can't reproduce all the html but the words bear repeating as this thread winds down.

Biggest news from the speech
Succeeding in Iraq also requires defending its territorial integrity – and stabilizing the region in the face of the extremist challenge. This begins with addressing Iran and Syria. These two regimes are allowing terrorists and insurgents to use their territory to move in and out of Iraq. Iran is providing material support for attacks on American troops. We will disrupt the attacks on our forces. We will interrupt the flow of support from Iran and Syria. And we will seek out and destroy the networks providing advanced weaponry and training to our enemies in Iraq.
