So was the Battle of the Bulge...so was Task Force Smith...so was (insert military battle here)...successful wars are surrounded by bungled engagements.
Some of us understand that and know that it's not the short term media friendly goals that matter...it's the long term outcome that is important.

Do you realize, before you start typing, that there are military members online from Iraq, mothers, fathers, wives, children, those who have lost their sons and daughters who don't want their deaths to be in vain, injured at Walter Reed and elsewhere here?
