Her degree is not in English and she has no law degree.

How does someone who does NOT have a degree in EITHER law or English get to be a professor of each of those subjects?

Are you SURE?

According to the Duke English department website her degree is a Ph.D. from Michigan State University in African American Cultural Studies, Bio Cultural Studies, and Law.

So it's not a degree from a law school or from an English department.
