I was looking for a post like yours. Seems the only way, other than a playoff system, that Boise St. gets a chance at a National Title is to get into the Pac 10. Was wondering if that possibility had ever been talked about or explored.

NEVER HAPPEN.

Pac-10 is the one power conference that cares about the "non-revenue" sports. Travel costs are the major hurdle to Pac-10 expansion. Just no-where to expand to. They would need a travel partner; whom would that be: Idaho, Montana, Idaho St?
