Damn, I hope that doesn't happen. I hate this trend towards large conferences. I'm starting to appreciate the Ivy league's way of doing things: only have athletes who are real students, only eight schools, geographically and historically linked, no post-season tournament (I think).

Oh, they have their 'problems', too. You should hear the b*tching from Harvard & Yale about Penn -- how they 'abuse' the academic scholarship program to get better athletes into school there (the Ivys don't have athletic scholarships). Nice problem to have, huh?
