Breaking..suspicious device at port of miami..
A battery or hand cranked radio will keep you informed.
Good question. Liberal judges will be the death of us yet.
Ah, I have the TV news on now and see that the light wind (3 mph) was from the NW, anyway. Nalco spokesperson and SLFD chief are supposed to be on in a little while to wrap it all up.
They do a mass automated call-out on the phones. I wasn't home today when it happened (I'm at work now, about 9 miles northeast, in west Houston), but I've heard that kind of thing before, after Hurricane Rita, to let us know something about the electricity or some such deal, but I don't remember what it said now.
And Overtown.
That wasn't what I meant. Where would we hear "the truth" I do have a crank radio BTW. I actually used it to charge a cell phone awhile back:')
Thanks for the info - I thought SL had it. Good deal.
Ask yourself this, do they tell you the truth now?
If that much is accurate then it was probably a probe, reconnaissance, as it were. They were casing the joint.
This is not a good season to be going on a cruise out of Miami
Maybe they were released to see where they go, who they call.

Port of Miami or Port of Jihadi

"Khalid Salahuddin, or Brother Khalid as he is affectionately known, is the Deputy Director for the Seaport of Miami. He received the position via an appointment from Director Chares Towsley, shortly after scandal had rocked the port when illegally diverted port funds had made their way into Democratic Party coffers."

Port of Miami Flashback:
Deputy Director of the Port of Miami, Khalid Salahuddin, defended the sale of numerous American ports, including his own, to a state-owned company from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He stated, "They are not buying the Port of Miami. They are buying part of one of the operators at the port."
A lecture by Salahuddin, 'Belief in the Unseen,' is featured on the MeccaCentric Da'wah Group, an organization that sells videotaped speeches made by numerous Islamic radicals. This includes Siraj Wahhaj, a man whose name appears on a U.S. Attorney's list of potential co-conspirators to the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.

The Ongoing Threat to Cruise Ships
http://www.stratfor.com/products/premium/read_article.php?id=259655
Even while in port, a cruise ship is vulnerable to a terrorist attack. Some aspects of an attack in port make that scenario extremely dangerous, because of traffic congestion and the fact that the ship would be moving slowly. An attack similar to the October 2000 suicide bombing of the U.S.S. Cole in Aden, Yemen, would have devastating results on a cruise ship. The crew would not see the a bomb-laden suicide boat coming from as far away as they would on the high seas and would not have much time (or space) to react and maneuver. Unlike a warship -- built to withstand attacks from missiles, bombs, and torpedoes -- cruise ships lack structural reinforcements and built-in damage control systems. The bomb that nearly sunk the Cole, then, could easily sink a much larger cruise ship.

Yeah, when I was at UT Austin there were certain places that you DID NOT park your car in the evening lest you returned to it to find it literally covered with droppings. Then they started driving around with an air cannon mounted on the back of a truck to try to scare them off. Somebody wrote a take-off of The Raven called 'The Grackle'. I wish I could locate it.
(Banging my head lol) NO. They don't now. They wouldn't then. That is why I come to FR.
Once, upon a midnight boring, as I sat, alone and poring
Over many a quaint and curious volume of electric bills,
Suddenly there came a thumping, as of someone gently bumping,
Or a pair of hamsters humping underneath my window sills.
Scant attention was I paying, as my thoughts were gently straying,
And the stereo was playing "Greatest Hits of Ish Kabibble";
All at once, a vast, unpleasant grackle, black and irridescent,
Flew into my chamber window like a wayward dirigible:
Quoth the grackle: "Wibble, wibble!"
All unmoving, all uncaring, long he sat and watched me, staring
'Til I lost all sense of bearing and my lips began to dribble;
Then that grim and grisly grackle looked at me and gave a cackle,
And his hoarse and croaking crackle made my very giblets gibble:
Quoth the grackle: "Wibble, wibble!"
(Tom Laughlin) (excerpted)
That's why I come to FR too. :-)

Unbelievable. How much stupidity can one country survive?
I don't think anyone will be able to look at these young ME men without some kind of suspicion ever again and rightly so.
I'm still wondering why a 20 [per Fox] [reported by the Dearborn paper as 28] year old Iraqi is driving a semi-truck from Dearborn to Miami to ship auto parts????
