Has anyone mentioned that too much "stinky" stuff was put into the gas.
A couple of years ago, I went down to the basement and it was smelling of gas. I called the utilities and they said to ignore it. Seems they put something stinky in the gas to make people aware of a leak and they had mistakenly put too much in that batch.
There was a similar smell in Philadelphia years ago. Turned out to be a leak in a truck carrying the perfume additive for the gasoline.
