Why don't you thank heaven that it all worked out and get over yourself. In case you have forgotten, a little thing like 9/11 happened here. Well, you're way over there in Seattle so perhaps you didn't notice.
What harm was done?
A delay? If your mother in law doesn't like it here she can return to her country and tell others how terrible things are in America.

Americans are hated enough as it is. If you are saying this so more people from her country don't come here ..why? You got something against Lithuania ? I would rather a person come here to live from there then the Muslim countries personally!

Friend, you're out of line. 9/11 was perpetrated by muslim men between the ages of 18 and 40 from the Middle East - NOT Lithuanian grandmothers!! There's not only a difference, there is a distinct difference. For years, we have demanded that the TSA STOP treating grannies and little girls like this and start profiling the type of people who actually perpetrated 9/11.
Think about whether you would want YOUR Lithuanian, non-English speaking mother-in-law to be treated this way by YOUR government. The lady didn't come here with evil intent, she came to meet her grandson.
