Decaf is as useful as non-alcoholic beer.

The DP drinks it because of high blood pressure, so I make decaf and add a big teaspoon of instant regular coffee to my cup.

It's awful, of course, but at least I get some caffeine.

I have been drinking decaf coffee, tea, and diet coke for years. Perhaps my aversion to decaf will increase as my taste buds get more sensitive (I quit smoking in November) but I am used to them and simply don't miss the difference.
