OMG, this week's shows are unwatchable. I think I will take down my tree today instead.
Don't take it down, just move the adorned tree it into the spare bedroom and drape a sheet over it. Ahem, if it's artificial of course.
My late Mom did that for years and after Thanksgiving dinner we would just move the tree back into the den and "instant Christmas tree".
My Mom was a very practical person. :)
The lineup is so pathetic I think I'll put my tree back up!
I went to my old neighborhood yesterday to visit my mother, who is in the hospital. As I drove past the hospital, a minivan passed the other way, with a Christmas tree tied to the hood. Bet they got a good price for that one.
I used to feel like Marilyn Munster when I left a large gathering of my family, but not it feels like the whole neighborhood was like that!
