In "the old days" many Field Exercises in the army involved heating this stuff up in a canteen cup (with lots of Tabasco). Nice way to warm up!

In "the old days"
Old days? Heck, my last annual training with the Air Guard consisted of Ramen "egg drop" beef soup and instant coffee every morning for breakfast. Plus a wedge of German "Schokakola" as an additional pick-me-up. Of course, I learned my field skills as a Army Guard 19-D. My former Marine infantry gulf war veteran subordinate was even impressed. We had the most pimped out duece and a half hooch in the brigade. All we have to do is figure out how to mount a window shaker A/C unit and we'll be golden.
Here's to you Mr. Ramen noodle inventor guy! Millions of college students worldwide relied on your invention to provide up to 15 meals a week. So hoist yourself up a cold Bud-Light up there in Nirvana or Heaven or whatever and give yourself a pat on the back.
