"Life is the most critical issue in any election.
Without the Right to Life no other right is important. Dead people don't vote."
AMEN!
I used to think, as in the words of someone else, that 'the abortion/ pro-life issue was a litmus test of the real principles of a man or woman'. However, I think that needs to be adjusted a little....add to their stand on that issue, one other... gambling, and you will know the true man from the shaky one! the fence-sitter who wants to keep the state income from the gambling, will find a way to justify keeping it...he/she has no concern for the damaged lives, the fact that the money is cursed because of it being ill gotten gains, or any other real concern about people. that person will sell out, in a heart beat!!! they have no principles, no scruples. saw this happen in SD!
You already know where I stand. He is not a fence sitter. He does not make any decision lightly!! It is weighed and prayed over. You want your country back?? put in Brownback!
BROWNBACK TO TAKE THE COUNTRY BACK to where it needs to be.
double check your HUNTER guy with someone who has been military recently... talk with apackof2
i'll shut up now and go to bed!! ::cheering in my sleep:: if you haven't met the man, you won't understand! if you have, and you are honest with yourself, he is the candidate.
Your state has a population of probably under 800,000.
San Diego County is 3 million.
Brownbeck may be fine in some areas but when San Diego has tens of thousands of illegals and he supports amnesty, not a good idea especially when it is my tax money supporting them not yours.
It is costing my county mega millions of dollars a year for social services for the illegals.
For those who live in areas not affected by the problem of the cost, gangbangers, the drug problems from their cartels, etc. it is easy to slam those who see this daily.
It's more like the vote to give SS to ILLegals. BTW, I heard Barack Obama at the dem convention and thought what a smooth talker he was too. That doesn't mean I would vote for him either.
No no no no no.....I was saying that to the poster pushing Hunter whats-his-name. I KNOW where Brownback stands on that issue. He is great and I trust him to be consistent. I am sorry that I did not make it clear I was not talking about Brownback. He is my #1 choice at this time. I was just trying to learn about the other guy.
Duncan Hunter is right on the issues and outspoken. We need a fighter.
Watch for Duncan Hunter. He's going to be in the race too.
What we need is a Conservative who can win. I don't know the name of such person. I do not believe that either Duncan Hunter or Sam Brownback have much chance of winning a general election.
Hunter's son, Duncan Jr., was also military recently. He served two tours in Iraq as a Marine. Hunter is the man. He has the military credentials and is right on all the issues. Brownback fails with amnesty and I don't think he's nearly as effective a speaker as Hunter.
You only say that because Duncan Hunter is not a 'name' but give him the time of day and you will get a strong message and people will see him as Commander in Chief. He'll make a name for himself. He's the best in the race frankly.
I should add that not only is he the best in the race but he is a good solid conservative Republican; the kind we don't see much of any more and he is vocal unlike so many spineless Republicans. He's been my choice in who I think would make an awesome president. I was excited when he announced he plans to run.
I am almost certain that he is NOT pro life.(Duncan Hunter)
If it was not for that he would be ok.
talk to the military about his spending habits on tax dollars for inadequate equipment.
Right on!!! Pro life is the most important issue to Christians.
Talk radio has many republicans in a frenzy over immigration. All of a sudden it trumps Christian values????
your concerns are forwarded
i have heard smooth talker as well. that is NOT Brownback! heavens, i was married to a smooth talker. guarantee Brownback is what he says he is!!
