He doesn't need the money. They would be wise to remember that. Duke may end up paying dearly for all this. And as much as I hate saying it, they deserve it.
"Ironically, this incident will harm the University far more than the accused players when all is said and done."
Amen. Up until now me and the rest of the country I had no idea that Duke University supported academic courses that are meaningless beyond description. The revelation on a national scale that Duke includes such worthless components in it's degrees is an embarrassment to what was once considered a high end education.
Don't call me for the jury. After reading the synopsis of her course, I see feminist in large blinking letters. This kid may be a jock and not a brilliant student (but that is not necessarily so), but she found ALL the team guilty
and proceeded accordingly.
Actually, we have a 6'4", 200 lb. high school jock who is a thoroughly nice young man and a good student, so I am willing to give the jocks benefit of doubt. This prof--Guilty!

You know, I took it. I then knew how those who are discriminated against felt. Didn't like it, but it didn't kill me either. Should I have appealed? You bet, but it was my last semester and I didn't want to drive to campus one more time. They sent me my diploma in the mail.
State school, you bet!
Was this at Duke?
now we know why Duke un-suspended those players.
All those who condemned are now in super CYA.
Will Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson admit their mistakes?
Believe me, you're much better off not knowing what she's talking about. Hard experience has acquainted me with this sort of jargon.
No, It was a Western Illinois University in Illinois. Just wanted to point out that the injustices are ripe at most liberal universities.
I wonder if Erwin cherminsky will represent her.
I hope they find her guilty and make sure she NEVER EVER teaches again. These ahole libs at DUKE have to be taught a lesson
Thanks for this link so I could write her a word or two...or shall I say...a piece of my mind. The whole thing was a farce from the beginning and has ruined the lives of three young men...I hope they can get justice somehow.
Geeze... that's a scary thought.
Whatever made you think she wears any?
Men's boxers maybe.
Duke has got some major damage control to do. As it said on Instapundit this morning, the name of the school in people's minds is no longer "Duke University", it's "Duke Lacrosse Team University." They could start by getting rid of the unpublished, non-tenured Marxist parrots like this horrible old cow.

Which explains why Duke is being sued and why Curtis is an Assistant to the Professor (Office joke ;)
These are no more than head-stands and somersault confections of an intellectual wannabe of decidedly unimaginative leftsist leanings [and an expert in geology, environmental science and much, so she would have us believe ...].
Oh dear!
what is her master's in?
The players get a small amount of pay. They all have real jobs in addition to the couple of days a week that they play lacrosse.
no because they support the victim, and she's still a victim: of whites, the da, the media, it's a win-win for the race pimps
