Excuse me but don't you get it. We don't have a need to know! As long as we and our kids can go to bed not worrying about this nonsense then were save and sound.
Whenever we release this info it aids the enemy and that ain't such a good idea.

An American intelligence official said the new material, which has been authenticated within the intelligence community, confirms "that Iran is working closely with both the Shiite militias and Sunni Jihadist groups." OK, so now it is out in the open (of course anyone with 2 working brain cells knew this years ago, but that's another matter)...Iran is working with our enemies and getting Americans killed. As a result, Iran IS OUR ENEMY.
To paraphrase a notable former President: "The bombing begins in 5 minutes." At least it would if I lived at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Thanks for the find and the post. Events have indicated Iran's involvement for some time on both sides, but documents and prisoners are essential for intelligence to confirm it. My guess is that the leak is authorized by senior officials who hope to press for action against Iran.

Speaking of Iran and bombing... ...one of my favorite songs of all time is by Vince Vance and the Valiants. It is "Bomb Iran!" to the tune of "Barbara Ann" by the Beach Boys. I've still got the 45 (rpm, not ACP-though I have one of those, too) and the song on a couple of old tapes.

Now that we have proof of what we already knew, I wonder what our misguided President will propose to do about it.
He really should propose to confront and deal with the evil of Iran and let the democrats stand up for what THEY believe in opposition to what must be done sooner or later.
