I realize there are murders everywhere between all types of people but I think the main point is that this is a catastrophe happening to a small segment of the population and it’s completely off limits to talk about it.
Of course if you designate the problem as “black on black” it’s inherently racists from the get go. But how do you talk about it? How do you attempt to find solutions? How do you fix it if we can’t describe what is happening?
Isn’t it more racist just to ignore it? Just a bunch of young black males killing each other…not my problem.

In fact,at one of our toughest ghetto schools here,I overheard a teenager make a "F the white man"comment.I snapped at him,"Look partner,all those dead black bodies in our town aren't because the KKK rode through here.Black folks are doing this s--- to EACH OTHER"
Shut that boy up real fast.No one in the class said a word?Why?Cause they knew this middle aged honkie was RIGHT.
Just be a truth teller.Black folks aren't going to bite your head off.Quite to the contrary,they will respect you.
