Shots of Clinton follwed by Dad Bush inadvertently reveals the difference in appearance of men who are a generation apart...Clinton looks to be OLDER than Dad Bush.

I posted this the other night, but I'm posting it again for those who didn't see it.

I never knew his life story and tumultuous start, and I'm so touched by Gerald R. Ford's mother and childhood and the work ethic, integrity, character of the man.

He didn't have the most auspicious beginnings as Leslie King ... in fact, his life reads like a dramatic and Midwestern depression-era novel.. and ends up being a heartwarming and poignant all-American journey to unexpected greatness, by a most decent man.

HERE

Rest in peace, Mr. President. Thank God for you .. when we needed your steadying hand so badly.

Ford family seems very supportive. Do any of them have political desires?

It is also important to have DC as calm and quiet as possible today. So if postal workers in Dubuque get to stay home, it may be because State Dept and Congressional employees, etc in DC would just complicate the works.

OR it may just be a simple honor to an ex-Federal Employee, albeit one from the top of the pay scale.

My bets:

Billy Bob will get a big funeral, and many people will show up.

They will be the (few) fanatics that absolutely adored the scumbag. They are so fanatical that they will buy tickets and take time off from Alaska just to prove how great HillBillary was. People did for Reagan but the % for Klintoon will be bigger, because these people have screwed-up priorities (these are the people who are professional protestors, after all).

If his relatively few followers weren't so wacky, his turnout wouldn't be as big as Reagan's - who was really liked by most people, even if grudgingly.

Let's never forget that Billy Boy never won a real majority, and that the Reform Party largely sucked from the trough of the GOP. And he turned off alot of people.

But those few who did vote for him were nutso.

I don't know. I think, he's the Bishop of Washington, D.C. I didn't catch his name.

I grew up in Ohio, Jerry Ford could have been a statistic, instead he excelled.

I don't know if these ladies have the real thing but I think they're copying Princess Di who wore such a lovely pearl necklace to Gianni Versace's funeral.
