Just wanted to brag about my hubby, the nephew being spoken about. He started collecting clothes prior to his departure to Afghanistan, while he was in training in Camp Shelby. He viewed videos about conditions in Afghanistan and was so upset that he felt he had to do something. He decided to start collecting clothes, blankets, etc. and asked all our family and friends to help out. This is something he single-handedly started, not supported by the Army or Navy. Many servicepeople are doing things that the media never hears about. I am extremely proud of him, his bravery and his service to our country, as well as his work to spread the word that the Americans are the good guys!
That's a wonderful thing your husband is doing. I hope he knows how much we all support him and the military in whole - plus their families.

Our Military does so much that the MSM chooses to ignore, they will work closely with the anti's to make things sound as bad for us a possible and it disgusts me to no end.
For him to spearhead this effort is proof that he is more concerned about the children of that country than the very people that are in charge. God Bless him and all of you for helping.
If the MSM were to do the right thing, they would be asking for help from the citizens to do this. If the people of this country knew, they would respond. Look at the flood of support thyat came to the people of Indonesia when the tsnumi came, or Katrina victims...
The patriotic people of this country have always gone to the aid of the people in need. We just need to know where and how to respond.
