To: Howlin

I made it to the TV right before "Hail to the Chief" Almost wished I didn't, pass me a Kleenex.

I was watching the grandchildren. You can tell they mourn their Grandpa.

Can you imagine the overwhelming awe the State Funeral must be for them? These ceremonies represent everyting right with our country (IMHO), the respect, the dignity, etc. And to see your Grandfather honored in such a way has to be a powerful moment.

Lovely thoughts. Now the solemn procession to the Capitol. Fitting for a man who served so well. Now, the American people have the chance to pay their respects.
