In the large family of my childhood, arguments were all fueled by adult beverages

Y'all need to join my family .. the only arguments we had we over politics and yet at that, they were a hoot

My favor was hearing my Democrat Aunts & mother rip into my one brother for voting for Carter *L*

I remember when I was little and my parents both voted for JFK. The rest of the family practically disowned them, there were loud arguments (over "cocktails")...and several of them didn't speak for a lllong time. Before she died my mom said JFK would be disowned by the current Democratic party!

The other thing she said OFTEN was.."well..he's the only dem I ever voted for"....LOL.
