I'm a moderate; do you think I want you to join a cult?

Sooner or later people have to decide if you want SOMETHING or NOTHING.

Apparently nothing suits you.

If you're a moderate, then you're not a conservative.

People who stand in the middle of the road for too long end up as road kill.
Today, JFK would be considered a rabid right winger. How far left are you willing to go? 40% of our wages are already lost to taxes and government fees. Will you go to 50%? 60%?
How about the moral decine: social dependency, disease, and mental problems associated with political correctness. How many souls have to fall before you notice and say "Enough moderation. Enough politically correct thought control! Do something!"

Statement by the founder of Free Republic:

In our continuing fight for freedom, for America and our constitution and against totalitarianism, socialism, tyranny, terrorism, etc., Free Republic stands firmly on the side of right, i.e., the conservative side.
