You're mistaken. There were no anti-American celebrations like that in Dearborn after 9/11.
I know for a fact there were in Patterson, NJ. My husband kept hearing what he thought was nonsense on the CB radio, about the World Trade Center Towers falling down. He turned on the AM/FM radio, and heard more of the same nonsense. It sounded like a variation on War of the Worlds. It wasn't until he saw the Muslims celebrating in the streets that he called me, and asked me to turn the TV on. I asked him what channel, and he said "Any channel. If what I'm hearing and seeing is real, it'll be on every channel." And it was, except for the Muslims dancing in the streets. That wasn't on any channel that I saw.
Must have been some other city in MI, then. Flint?
