I can only hope the President and his Administration realizes the great opportunity they have with Saddam's hanging.

Rather than gloat in satisfaction they can extend a token or an offering of good intentions to the Arab world. The simplest first step is to condemn again in the strongest terms the Israeli plan to begin new "settlements" on the West Bank.

It has to be clear to all concerned that we are not in this effort to provide Israel or anyone else with the opportunity of territorial conquest and "settlement."

2. Israel has a better claim to the land than America has to our land. We committed mass murder, something Israel has not.
