We all agree that the President will include the words May God have mercy on his soul.

Dubya is that kind of man.

It's not clear Saddam has been in possession of his soul for several decades now.

The One Who Possesses His Soul will not be placated by such sentiments.

Even God would be unlikely to have mercy on an unrepentant Saddam.
