Those pictures should be printed in newspapers across the country tomorrow a.m., to remind people why this execution is happening.

It makes you wonder why a person becomes so cruel and inhumane. What sets a person off like that?

I suppose he (and others like him) decided that attaining the goal of absolute power requires a lot of bloodshed. But all of Saddam's atrocities--it seems to go way beyond just holding onto power. He really seemed to revel in causing human pain and misery.

The method of governing for Saddam, Stalin and Lenin was terror. It was not an addition to general management. It was the management method. It is hard for us to understand, but that is the unvarnished truth.

That Saddam Hussein—and his sons before him—have, and will soon be facing, judgment at the hands of the United States military and her allies, is the absolute right thing. That the American people who exhibit a little joy at the halting of even a small amount of evil in this world would be derided is incredible.

Yes, these pictures should be printed and broadcast throughout the mainstream media. Of course, they will not. The degenerate and confused will condemn his hanging, anyway.

I can't take credit for the pictures. They were posted earlier in the thread.
