He did so many cruel hateful things. Two "small" ones that stand out in my mind are:
1) One young woman he grabbed off the street and took to his room (to be prepared by his maids and put in a dress of Saddam's choosing and hair and makeup done in slutty fashion) to rape -- well, the guard was called in after, and according to that guard, Saddam was in a state, pacing and mumbling in his bedroom. The guard searched for the girl, and found her... in the bathtub with her throat slit, soaked in her own blood.
2) The meeting of his "cabinet" at which he criticized some who displeased them, and sent them out on the patio to be killed, while having the rest of the men watch on a TV screen in the meeting room.
