...how do you post in italics??

You type </i> to start the italics and </i> to end them. Of course, if you do that, you'll also need to put in the HTML code for line (<br>) and paragraph (<p>) breaks.

Here is the thread I learned from: HTML Bootcamp

What I did was copy the commands on to a wordpad and print it out. Then it was always right at my fingertips and I didn't have to keep refering back to the thread.

Hope that helps!

but how do you post in italics??

Put < i > in front of the word or phrase and < /i > at the end (without the spaces that I put within the brackets).

I'm sure I won't be first.

Do this before the phrase you want in italics. Put a < and > with an i inside. then be sure that when you end the phrase you put the < and > with /i inside. Otherwise everything you post thereafter will be in italics.

< i > . . . < / i > will create italics and turn them off. Somebody else might explain about the rest.
