Are you home or back over in the sandbox? Please be careful my friend.
Before we act so gleeful to the fact that Saddam Hussein has met his just fate, I would recommend that we ponder the fact that here in the United States, we cannot or will not carry out the same justice on serial killers, baby/child rapers and traitors to our own country.
Oh, I'm sure they're still cheerleading for Mookie Sadr and the Mahdi Army.
Greta's been arguing with one of Saddam's lawyers. I got tired of the guy whining.
Remember when CNN covered up their girl who got cut up into pieces and thrown on her parents lawn for saying something about Saddamn. CNN is as guilty as he was.

Home on vacation for a couple more weeks. Then I head back to the Fertile Crescent. ;-)
VERY VERY GLAD it will happen soon, not just for the sake of long-delayed justice, but in the anticipation of monitoring what might be a very SURPRISING reaction to this event: There will be a finality to it, and an unprecedented kind of recognition that even a Jihadist would have to accept: America brought about the conditions to make it possible for the Iraqi people to take care of this cancer once and for all. The government of Iraq, flawed as it is, will carry out this act. I think the death of Saddam, virtually unprecedented in the Middle East (except by assassin's bullets) will have an impact that will register quickly and just as quickly attain critical mass---its impact will be enormous.

Your right, had Saddam made it to a blue state, he would lived an extra 10-20 years or so on appeals. He could have lived even longer by writing children's books like that Crypts Gang Leader Tookie Williams.
Anderson Cooper's show was a thousand times more honest than Colmes. And he put Larry King to shame. I wonder if Cooper will have any respect for ole larry.
The anti war ranters gave aid and comfort to our enemies and for that they will never be forgiven.
Just please be careful. Wow, you have my ultimat respect.....and balls :)
In that one way, I guess the Middle East is better than the West...
You just know that CNN will never broadcast Saddam Hussein showing any weakness! They have to protect their hero till the very end.
This is sends a very strong message to Achmed Lunchbucket. This is the way kings are handled in the ME. He got off lucky since most Babylon kings were killed in far more torturous methods. This may turn the corner for Iraq.

They're just awful. There's a post on today's Dose by silent_jonny to me wherein he showed how cnn depicted President Ford as compared with their beloved Saddam. If you have time, search silent_jonny's forum posts.
This is just so wrong.
