Has CNN also given the world the coordinates of the sites?
Yeah, but I haven't pinged this one yet until we know some more.
And it looks like it may just be a Happy New Year, huh? At least for us!
Swingin by John Anderson
There's a little girl in our neighborhood,
her name is Charlotte Johnson and she's really lookin' good.
I had to go and see her, so I called her on the phone.
I walked over to her house and this was going on:
Her brother was on the sofa, eatin' chocolate pie,
her Mama was in the kitchen cuttin' chicken up to fry.
Her daddy was in the backyard rollin' up a garden hose,
I was on the porch with Charlotte, feelin' love down to my toes...
and we were Swingin', yes we were Swingin'...
Little Charlotte she's as pretty as the angels when they sing,
I can't believe I'm out here on her front porch in this swing,
just-a-swingin,
Yeah, and we'll be swingin, yes, we'll be swinging.
Little Charlotte she's as pretty as the angels when they sang,
I can't believe I'm out here on the front porch in the swang,
just-a-swangin.
Now Charlotte she's the darlin', she's the apple of my eye,
and when I'm on the swang with her it makes me almost high.
And Charlotte is my lover and she has been since the sprang,
I just can't believe it started on her front porch in this swang.
Just a swangin, well just a swangin,
Little Charlotte she's as pretty as the angels when they sang,
I can't believe I'm out here on the front porch in the swang,
just-a-swangin.
I said, Little Charlotte she's as pretty as the angels when they sang,
I can't believe I'm out here on her front porch in the swang,
just-a-swangin.
I thought swinging him from the crossed swords over the highway would have been a nice touch.
Shortly beforae he died, Johnny Cash released perhaps his best song (in my view) and it is quite appropriate here: "When the Man Comes Around".
The next thing Saddam will see after that trap door opens is a Great White Throne, and that won't go very well for him either. No appeal from that judgment.
Hmmm... I am sure Mike Rivero will come up with something along that line.:-)
Thanks.
From the NYSE broadtape:
Saddam May Hang Within Hours - Senior Iraqi Source [EXCERPTED]
BAGHDAD, Dec 29 (Reuters) - Saddam Hussein could be hanged
within hours, a senior Iraqi source told Reuters on Friday after
Saddam's lawyer said U.S. forces had handed over the former
president to Iraqi authorities for execution.
"Things have changed in the past three hours. There were
some issues ... and now that is resolved so it seems it's
possible he may be hanged tonight," the source, who is in a
senior position of authority, said after a day of confusion.
However, the start of the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha on
Saturday raised the possibility of a delay until after the
week-long holiday is over, he added: "It's not certain," he
said.

Michael Moore and Sean Penn have already proofed the film of special effects for a faux fix!
With Hollyweirds' blessings.
That's actually "25 Minutes to Go"
Yup, I remembered that after I posted. Been quite a while since I heard it played. I was just about to post the lyrics but you got there first. Thanks. With a few word changes it would be perfect, don't you think?
His name is Stewart and he must be in his mid-twenties now.

And we'll be receiving reports of Saddam sightings to rival Elvis sightings.
I have to take a shower myself.
Keep me posted.
Does anybody else see that host on the sun?
It's a great song. I also agree with post #305, 'When the Man Comes Around' would be another appropriate Cash song for this wonderful occasion.
"Bohemian Rhapsody... that works for me"
Picturing Ramsey Clark singing "Let Him GO!"
Bush and Cheney singing "We will not let him go"
