Fox News is running a story that it has confirmed that Saddam has been handed over to Iraqi authorities. Fox says that an Iraqi judge has said Saddam will be executed tomorrow at the latest.

Today is the peak day of the Hajj pilgrimage. You know, they might just consider it an appropriate day to hang him - "meet your maker" type of thing.
Eid doesn't start until around January 20th. The date is inexact because it depends on the phases of the moon, as reported by Muslim religious authorities. I know this is being paranoid, but I have the feeling he is going to escape. I don't trust Iraqi "authorities".

yes..via a USPS site, the stamp was issued on 9/1/01
at a ceremony in Des Plaines IL (convention of Islamic
Society of North America).
I suspect he was turned over in front of the gallows and was surrounded by American troops and he is swinging right now.
Sometime next year btw there should be a Gerald Ford stamp issued. Usually there is a wait of at least 5 years for someone to be honored with a stamp, but in the case of
Presidents, it's a bit shorter. Reagan died in June of '04
I believe; the Reagan stamp (acc. to a page I found) was
unveiled the following Nov., and the "first day of issue"
was in Feb. shortly after what would have been his birthday.

Saddam's Lawyers are claiming that Saddam is now the victim (LOLOL). They are also saying that Saddam will go to the gallows smiling. I hope there is video so we can see that smiling face one last time.
