A couple of other "incidents" the author of the article didn't include (as far as I could see):
The shooting of Bobby Kennedy by Sirhan Sirhan was because he thought Bobby Kennedy liked Israel too much.
The shooting of the Pope - by a moslem who didn't like the Pope.
The killing of the Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympic games.
Throwing Louis Klinghoffer overboard in his wheelchair during the take over of the cruise ship Achille Lauro.
The killing of Anwar Sadat for making a peace treaty with Israel.
The cold blooded killing the Navy Seal during a plane hijack.
The assassination of King Abdullah of Jordan's great grandfather (King Hussein's grandfather) when he voiced the "possibility" of there being a State of Israel.
The killing of our Marines in Lebanon.
The Khobar Towers killings of our soldiers.
The dozens of Jews killed at a Jewish cultural center in Argentina.
The killing of Jewish women at a Jewish Center in Washington State earlier this year.
The attack on El Al's check in counter at LA airport.
The attacks on Lod airport in Israel.
well, gosh, the list really is long isn't it? And I haven't covered half of it (don't want to bore you).
Is there a trend here? Could it be the "religion of peace" ain't so peaceful? And now we have a United States Congressman who thinks its all just fine and dandy to swear on the book that propogates this kind of hatred.
Even worse and scarrier is that behind that congressman are the thousands of people who voted for him.
It's the beginning of the coming avalanche, my friends.
"Americans" have begun voting for this.

I think the Holy Bible (Tanakh, New and Old Testament) should be the law of the USA when taking oaths in Office.
We can respect other faiths, but this is the United States founded ONLY on Judeo/Christian principles.
What if a wiccan or a scientologist or a buddhist, hindu are elected? then what?
Why is the USA turning into mamby pampbie thumb sucking fraidy cats? What happened to admiring GOD, Strength, Courage, Integrity, the country that was built of those attributes..

I thought that it was based on the Federalist Papers.
The Federalist Papers were an explanation of the Constitution - a lobbying effort to get the states to endorse the Constitution - as I am sure you know.
While the Constitution does not cite Biblical quotations, it is certainly based upon the Judeo/Christian culture, history, experience, education and beliefs of the Framers. They were almost all quite religious men. Many went to Church regularly at Christ Church while they were in Philadelphia.
I can't think of one who would have considered himself a athiest or an agnostic. I can't think of one who disavowed the Judeo/Christian concept of G-d.
So, whilst it would be wrong to say that the Constitution is "based" upon the Bible - it think it would correct to say that the precepts of the Bible formed the basis for the framing of the Constitution.
You should have shown the bottom of your shoe, not your foot. But that's alright, at least your feet are clean.
You forgot to mention the recent killings of Christians in Indonesia, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen and Darfur, etc.
