Most of this is so silly it borders on fanaticism. But I am reminded of the current blizzard in Denver. In 1982, a blizzard came in on the evening of the 23d, into the 24th and left 2 1/2 feet of snow. It was referred to as the Christmas Blizzard of '82. This morning I noticed Fox referred to the current blizzard as the Holiday Blizzard of 2006.
DH and I met for lunch yesterday at a very nice restaurant in DC. Our waiter wished us a Merry Christmas so I increased his tip.
