Thanks. I just didn't understand why the police were so sure it was the dog when the ferret was in the house too. This is such a sad story. I wish more people would think before buying that cute little puppy and do their homework on a dog before buying. At this time of year many people buy pups and kittens as pets and so many end up in shelters. Most dogs in my opinion turn bad because of bad owners who don't understand the breed or just don't put in the time they need to train their animals.
