We got it bad this AM. Route 40 through NM was closed from Albuquerque to Amarillo until noon. About 18" in the mountains east of Albuquerque where I am. Still coming down.

Any idea as to how I40 should be by Thursday night/Friday morning from Amarillo to Santa Rosa? We're going to my wife's family in Las Cruces for Christmas, and was planning on getting off 40 at Santa Rosa and taking route 54. Or do you think by Friday morning it would be safer staying on I40 to ABQ and then down I25, although it is a bit further?

Since I don't have to drive in it now, it's pretty. Still have to finish some Christmas shopping sometime this week.

Yiikes!!!

Stay safe friend!

Well, I don't like to rub it in, but I am sitting here in sunny Phoenix by the pool...too cold to swim of course ;)
My son has been sending me photos of the snow in RR. I would say I miss it, but since I grew up in CO, I haven't missed snow a single day since I left!
