And remember - Webb did not receive a majority of the votes; he got a plurality. More than 50% of Virginians DID NOT vote for Webb.
That's true, however, Virginia has always represented pure, real class. Even the poorest of the poor had class. Those southern manners and graciousness that made them stand out from all others. If that is to the point where even "almost" half voted for this vulgar boor, then Virginia is almost lost.
