He probably was raised as a Muslim. But, I don't think it's good idea to attack him as 'former Muslim' when he has confessed to be a Christian now. There are a lot of other things that would disqualify and prevent him from being a presidential/vice presidential candidate. Let's not focus much on what he was, but on what he is.
I'm not sure Hillary would choose him as her running mate. There are two things that against him to be chosen as Hillary's running mate:
1. Her ego.
2. Obama is a senator from IL. Hillary was also from Illinois, and it's unlikely Obama would win any Southern state. Since blacks will vote for a Clinton anyway, him being black wouldn't be a real advantage.

I agree in general, however, I think you'd be surprised by just how many swing voters think he is 'well-reasoned' and 'moderate'.

I get the feeling they are propping up Obama so that when Hillary decides to run against him, the media can compare and contrast them.
It will be the ultimate PC smackdown and the media will make us all believe that the Republicans are racists.

If Hillary perceives him to be the Antichrist, she'd join him on her ticket in a heartbeat.
At present, he doesn't offer much that would dissuade such identification, but confirms it in almost every approach he takes. Go figure.
If the end times are closer than we think, I'd associate Hildebeast with the Whore of Babylon, and look in the periphery for an unknown 10th horn rising up out of the political sea.
Considering the cost of the GWOT (the "Long War"), the emphasis to maintain a presence in the mid-East, the cost to rebuild a WTC, if Hillary got elected it wouldn't surprise me if she promoted the rebuilding of Babylon as a new world trade center. Masons all round have been commenting how it might be preferable to turn Muslim than encourage religious war, so I wouldn't be surprised if she wouldn't initiate a purge of fundamental Christians, coincident with promoting Digital Angel, as a mechanism to avoid identity theft. Such steps would easily usher in the Beast and AntiChrist.
On the other hand, maybe Americans are more reasonable and intuitively sense her incompetence as a leader of any free republic. My observations have been that too many Americans simply treat her as an alternate viewpoint just as worthy as responsible behavior, while ignoring the consequences of her thinking and past behavior. So I don't know who is worse, Hillary, or the millions of Americans who think she is OK.
IMHO, we are either closer than we think, and when it happens it will happen very quickly, or entire dominions might fall and humanity might face another 2000 years before Armageddon. His return is eminent, not necessarily immediate, not nothing in Prophecy precludes His return.

I agree with you. If he says he is now Christian, then we ought to accept that. Yes, I can be suspicious of his Muslim past, but I think in all honesty that if he says he's a Christian, then he is. I find it much more suspicious that as a Christian, he attends such a liberal church that it's hard to perhaps call IT Christian, at least orthodox Christian. And his liberal socialistic tendencies are more than enough reasons for me not to ever vote for him. I don't have to worry about his past; his present is more than enough cause for concern.

You might want to add a third.
The cold fish factor.
A dummy at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum looks more alive than Hillary.
Obama is definitely energetic-he smiles, he laughs and he can speak extemporaneously in complete sentences without a lot of " ahhhhs " and " ya knows."
Unlike Hillary, Obama looks to be warm blooded.
The only candidate who might make Hillary look lifelike in comparison would be the guy from " Weekend at Bernies " and even that might be a stretch.

He is not a Christian. He may be "religious" but he
he is the antithesis of Christianity in more areas than his Muslim genes.
