RE: Olney FReep -

If you live in northern VA and want a short cut to Olney See Post 39 Here. It's an easy 20 minute drive from the American Legion Bridge.

A special Thanks to BufordP for enhancing the original plain type directions.

The Archive of Olney FReeps is here or in the LINKS section of Trooprally's ABOUT Page.

One lady cut off cars to stop at the curb in front of us. She loudly said her husband was preparing for his second tour in Iraq and that we should be ashamed of ourselves.

Give you one guess why he volunteeered for a second tour...

Correction to distance from Glenmont Red Line Metro to Olney. It is about 7 miles straight north on Georgia Ave., MD Rte. 97.

Aaronarnwine - If you can make it to Olney one Saturday, let us know mid week and we'll see about getting you a ride. We sometimes have lunch afterwards so maybe you can make it for one of those Saturday's.

I love the MOAB, it says it all:

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS
DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM
AMERICAN HEROES

The support all of you give our soldiers is never in vain.

Fun, FRiends, Focus...the 3 F's I find at any of the DC activities. Here are some of my shots from Saturday morning at the corner.

The "opponents" are well meaning & grounded in the belief structure that is part of their faith walk. We in our country cannot hold this position to be evil or wrong.. maybe uniformed etc.

We walk to our drummers & they to theirs. God Bless our great country where we can all stand tall & speak out our beliefs. Now the FRed Phelps FReaks ...well, they are another story.

The Quaker Group (anti war)

These last three are Mark ..my good bud from Chicago area & me. I am grateful for his support in attending this weekend of FReeper & DC functions.

I truly cannot recall if I met you at the Inauguration. I tried to (and did) get the 4 ATRWers in a pix, your hubby included . Pix is on my profile page. I am recalling that you & anohter couple were against the wall when I located you for pix.. but there were SO many people/situations. I can barely remember yesterday, yet 2 years ago!

Thank you for helping to make the food so outstanding. Everything tasted wonderful

Great photos so far -- can't wait to see more.

It was great seeing you again at the DC Chapter party. I'm so glad that you and Mark were able to make it to DC this year.

Please ping me to your photos. FReep On!
