Well, that's pretty damned insulting. I have never thought of CHRISTMAS as an "orgy of consumerism." Thank you for your kind words about my religion and our customs, perhaps you and the Rabbi are related?

I have to agree...far too much generalization going on these days...denouncing groups of people by innuendo, and crass remarks is common today...I have noticed that left leaning folks, are unable to express their views, as a result they reach for a common often heard comment to defame a group...
