I thought the Polish Atomic hand grenade fiasco had put an end to the search for a small arms nuke.

Roseville police said a man carrying "the biggest gun they've ever seen" robbed a convenience store on Masonic Boulevard on Friday.

"This is my rifle, this is my gun!"
"THIS IS MY RIFLE, THIS IS MY GUN!"
"This is for fighting, this is for fun!"

BTW, I just noticed the hat the soldier is wearing in that pic. Are either of you aware of any such headgear worn by US Army troops between 1961 and 1971 (the period during which the Davey Crockett weapon was deployed)? It looks like something a frenchman would wear, and it struck me as very odd, especially worn with fatigues.

One eye closed. Very weak grip and index finger on outside of trigger guard. Needless to say the weapon is held only inches in front of the shooter's face! I think the shooter needs some instruction from renowned firearm expert Diane Frankenstein.

It was REALLY the biggest gun I ever saw! Of course, he just showed us a photo of it, and said that if I didn't give him all the money in the store, he'd bring it in from the parking lot!
