I don't know anyone who could have gone thru what your precious Ian experienced that would not have memory issues. He's had quite a shock to his system and there is no doubt that he will be back to normal sooner rather than later.

Give him time, hugs, love, and encouragement but don't feel discouraged. With little ones, it's always a few steps forward and a step or two backwards.....in the best of circumstances.

You have all our prayers and love!

Thank you! It's been suggested that maybe the memory loss is a way of coping with what happened - of not remembering the crash. That memory has been giving his sister some rough nights. The first few nights, she wouldn't sleep anywhere near a window. She kept hearing the breaking glass.

It is really quite remarkable - he was released three weeks to the day from the crash. At that time, we weren't sure he'd live through the night, and God has brought him so far in such a short time!
