As far as I can tell, they don't factor in the cost of providing "free" public education to illegals and their children, and providing bi-lingual classes, translators, special remedial services, "free" breakfasts/lunches, etc.

You're right. Shouldn't have posted without spending more time on the article.
That said, living in California, you can look around and see the negative consquences of massive illegal immigration on neighborhoods, schools, and hospital emergency rooms.
