My ongoing debate over Socialists: Are they worth a "double tap" or would you waste the extra bullet?

What a load of hogwash... why the he!! is Howard Dean over there representing us anyway?

Of course. Because the democrats ARE socialists. They just got smart enough not to name themselves socialists.
This is a lost cause. For decades now America slides toward socialism, bit by bit. They cheat, lie, do anything to achieve the big goal. They are right when they claim that "we are not anti-americans", they just happened to be anti-current-americans". They will name the country the same, even when it will be socialism here. Nothing can be done. The majority of the voters in the long run will always fall for the "free this" and "free that" and "we will tax the rich", because they don't realize that most of THEM also be considered "rich". The same crap is going on for decades. When the conservatives get in for a brief period of time, the media starts to pour all available verbal poison, enough in four years to mislead the majority. And then they (socialists) get into power again and continue to build the socialism. Every time the right gets in, by then all things slid more to the left, what they could push back to the right.
There is no stopping. USA will be pretty much socialist in a couple of decades, then it will take a century to figure out that it was wrong. Or who knows, maybe that generation won't even know that it used to be much better. I am glad I will be dead by then.

Neither do I, but it seems we're outnumbered.

Howard Dean, chairman of the national committee of the U.S. Democratic Party, is attending the two-day conference together with the leaders of leftist governments of several countries and party leaders from across Europe.
Who would have thought that the Rats would scamper out of their hole to attend a lovefest? Happy Rats is just another effect of the 2006 elections that we have to endure.

I'm surprised Michigan's resident Stalinist, John Conyers, didn't fly over to pick up the latest architectural drawings for gulags.

Birds of a feather flock together.
Read the Communist Manifesto, then read the Democrat Party Platform. I'll wait while you try to find any difference in the two documents.

This is the Ruth Bader Ginsberg "look to international law" crowd.
These are the people who gasped when reagan fired the air traffic control union members.
It is no small thing that Rangel and Kennedy and Hitlary AND OBAMA are proposing Germany style social wealfare worker programs.
The goal is to cripple the US ecconomy with socialist laws.

European Socialists promised on Thursday to work to rebuild Europe's strategic alliance with the United States now that the Democrats control Congress after last month's elections. Socialist leaders attending a meeting of the European Socialist Party pledged that with the Democrats on the rise, strong ties could be renewed with the United States after years of cool relations with Republican President George W. Bush
Soooooooooooo does this mean the Dem Party is now admitting they are SOCIALIST???
