I know what you are saying, but science tries to push any discovery as anti-religion. They will find a little bacteria on Saturn and use it as proof religion is bunk. I just hate to see tax money wasted on this.

Exactly, but I would not say that "science" pushes a discovery any given way - I would say "athiests" push it. Many, I'd dare say most, scientists believe in God, and many of those are believing Christians (versus Jews, Hindus, Deists,or whatever). To me, the athiest scientist is in the minority, and has hijacked the science establishment the same way athiests have hijacked the rest of the country.

I think you can relax a little. Nothing about science threatens Christianity. Neither does life anywhere else, evolving or not. Science is merely the study and appreciation of the wonder of all creation.

For me, I do hope we get off this rock in some meaningful way and get out and explore the neighborhood. Lots of us. I hope we got back to the Moon and over to Mars, and set up permanent residences there.

There is nothing in the Laws of science that are anti- religion. Interpretation comes down to faith. The same creation story could have been written on planet after planet and without knowing Gods mind and intentions how can you determine that you are correct from your limited perspective of the universe.

You hate to see tax money wasted on what, exploration or scientists being anti-religion. If you hate to see money wasted on exploration I must say that I am confused considering that I'm guessing you are probably writing from the New World.

Where do you get this from? I've got degrees in Biology and Biochemistry and I have not observed this.
