If they're there, they pass laws and we already have far too many laws.
We should give them all their full salaries on the very first day of session and then see how long they're there.
If a state GOP is basically non-resistant to the Dems and is simply an alternative team for managing the Democrats' bureaucracy and laws, you're probably right. In that case, the less opportunity to pass new laws, the better. But if there's a real GOP spirit, the legislators need to time to pass good laws (there is such a thing) and repeal or amend bad ones. Also time to investigate the Rats' many abuses and the ill effects of the Rats' laws.
